wuakalaaaa (Sept. 22, 2025)

hello all! great week! i have a new compi! her name is Hermana Muñoz, shes from Ecuador, and she is amazing!! we have already had so much fun together

random
• we tried to cross the river and my shoes got completely stuck in the mud.. completely. i tried to save myself but then i stepped in even more mud with just my socks. nothing beats walking in sewer water socks and shoes all day
• our pensionista learned the song "ittsy bittsy spider" in english and probably sang it to us 4 times in 10 minutes 
• our entire area is under construction right now. so every single road is a giant hole and there are huge piles of dirt EVERYWHERE! its been quite interesting trying to get to some houses
• we found some people of gold this week! came to church yesterday

• first, jimmy and luz got married! it was so much fun and so exciting being there to see it all. they were so happy! and we partied it up 
• then they got baptized!
• and Joe got baptized!
(shoutout to valentino for the iphone pics and saving my shoes🫡) 

jungle facts 
• no one here knows how to sing. every. single. person. is tone deaf. it takes everything in me to not laugh all sacrament meeting.

something spiritual
"With faith in Jesus Christ just put one foot in front of the other."
This quote has helped me sooo much throughout the mish. Sometimes we have no odea what we are doing and we dont know what the outcome will be, but we just have to do it. God has a plan for us, but He trusts us enough to make decisions. Thats the only way we learn and grow. So if we center our faith in Jesus and just do it, everything will work out for our good.

hello friends!! hope you are all doing well. BAPTISM WEEK for us!  *Cheysi got baptized on Tuesday! Dis es Peruano (Sept. 8, 2025)

hello hello! another week down. i hit 8 monthss! AHH! time is flying by way too fast but every day is another day i get to serve the Lord. love my life!  random • peru fútbol played this week. we suck but hey we gotta stay faithful. we were talking to this guy about the game and he told us, "it's not math, it's not hope, its only miracles. God is peruvian." we lost. #DALEPERUU • intercambio w hermana larsen was hypeee • we met one of our new besties named mequeas jackson. he's like 5 foot nothing, walks around with his piano. all he's got is his piano, God, and the music to keep him going. but hey he wants to get baptized • met this cool painter guy named bill douglas. his paintings are so awesome ⬇️ milagros • hermana cornia and i found 31 people this week!!  • our leaders challenged us, as a zone, to find 90 people this week to start september off strong. we took that literally and God magnified our efforts completely. Hello all! Another great week out here in the jungle! Per usual.
