patience is a virtue (Oct. 27, 2025)

helloo!! this week was one of the longest weeks of my life but hey we survived. and we got CAMBIOS! i am going back to Pucallpa in the area Yarinacocha and i'm training a gringa! and the house has hot water!! nothing better 

random 
• we were in the house all day wednesday and thursday because hermana muñoz was sick. got a lot of studying in 
• we had an activity with the YSA and we made food from Ecuador and the United States. I made chili with corn bread. my team won. It was fantastic. 
• we crossed the river again and found a family of 8 and they are soo amazing. i love the area 9 de octubre and i am going to miss it soo much

• EDGAR AND SHERLYN GOT MARRIED!! đŸ„č it was sooo beautiful! families are eternal 
• Sherlyn then got baptized on Sundayy! she was so sick but she came anyway and said that she had been waiting too long for this moment and so she couldn't change the date. she was sooo happy
• we showed up to the wedding of Sherlyn and there was nothing there... we called the person that was supposed to bring everything and organize everything and he told us that he forgot 😳 so we spent 30 minutes calling everyone we knew, trying to get people to come, buying a cake, finding music, and making sure no one was bored. it was quite stressful! but now they are married. i love peru 

jungle fact 
the people here do assasinations in the river. we were just peacefully walking one night by the river and heard multiple gun shots and screaming.. and the people told us it was normal. so that's fun 
* word of the week -> "manchari" = scared 

something spiritual 
Awesome quote from my mother.. "Its not about how much you can do. It is about where your heart is in what you do." sometimes we get so caught up in all the things we have to get done. all the things we should be doing better every day. if we just do the things with full purpose of heart, putting Christ at the center of it all, everything will work out for our good.

hello friends!! hope you are all doing well. BAPTISM WEEK for us!  *Cheysi got baptized on Tuesday! Dis es Peruano (Sept. 8, 2025)

hello hello! another week down. i hit 8 monthss! AHH! time is flying by way too fast but every day is another day i get to serve the Lord. love my life!  random • peru fĂștbol played this week. we suck but hey we gotta stay faithful. we were talking to this guy about the game and he told us, "it's not math, it's not hope, its only miracles. God is peruvian." we lost. #DALEPERUU • intercambio w hermana larsen was hypeee • we met one of our new besties named mequeas jackson. he's like 5 foot nothing, walks around with his piano. all he's got is his piano, God, and the music to keep him going. but hey he wants to get baptized • met this cool painter guy named bill douglas. his paintings are so awesome ⬇️ milagros • hermana cornia and i found 31 people this week!!  • our leaders challenged us, as a zone, to find 90 people this week to start september off strong. we took that literally and God magnified our efforts completely. Hello all! Another great week out here in the jungle! Per usual.
