i'm gonna be a mom. (June 23, 2025)

cambio news -> ahhhhhh!! thats how i feel. we got cambios last night and im gonna be a mom!! im terrified to train but so excited. im not sure who my new compi is but i just know she's amazing! hermana parke is leaving me behind to go to iquitos 🥲 but i'm so excited for her. another transfer in centenarioooo! 

this week was pretty chill. we have been struggling lately to find people, and get people to church. but God has got a plan and i'm gonna just trust that this is His work. this cambio has really made me understand that this is God's work and everything has to happen in His timing and there is nothing we can do to mess that up. 

on tuesday it downpoured sooo bad. we were actually drenched within 5 minutes. all the kids were just sliding down the hill and throwing mud at us. it was so awesome! 

we are teaching this amazing lady named Florinda. she is the most faithful person i've ever met. every time we ask her to do something she also says, why not. we all need a mindset like florinda. when got asks us to do something, just respond "why not"

"He understands" is my spiritual thought for the day. that simple sentence is what has been getting me through every hard day. He truly does understand everything. He felt it all. Every single pain. He understands that you're scared. He understands that this is hard. He understands that you want to do your best. He understands your heart and your desires. He understands that life is hard, but He KNOWS what your life could be if you just give it to Him. He loves you.

hello friends!! hope you are all doing well. BAPTISM WEEK for us!  *Cheysi got baptized on Tuesday! Dis es Peruano (Sept. 8, 2025)

hello hello! another week down. i hit 8 monthss! AHH! time is flying by way too fast but every day is another day i get to serve the Lord. love my life!  random • peru fútbol played this week. we suck but hey we gotta stay faithful. we were talking to this guy about the game and he told us, "it's not math, it's not hope, its only miracles. God is peruvian." we lost. #DALEPERUU • intercambio w hermana larsen was hypeee • we met one of our new besties named mequeas jackson. he's like 5 foot nothing, walks around with his piano. all he's got is his piano, God, and the music to keep him going. but hey he wants to get baptized • met this cool painter guy named bill douglas. his paintings are so awesome ⬇️ milagros • hermana cornia and i found 31 people this week!!  • our leaders challenged us, as a zone, to find 90 people this week to start september off strong. we took that literally and God magnified our efforts completely. Hello all! Another great week out here in the jungle! Per usual.
