"i feel like we are synchronizing rn" (Aug. 18, 2025)

week 2 out here in iquitos!! another great one por usual. every week is going by faster and faster and now i feel like i need it to slow down.. pero te amo peruuu

random moments -> 
*listened to some fire mariachi bands in the street...thats not normal in peru 
*met a peruvian money collector named alex. he stopped us and asked where we were from and told us that the heavens were open cause he was witnessing angels falling from the skies (men take notes..the peruvians know how to flirt) 
two hours later we saw him again and he just kept asking us what our names are and asking us how he can meet with us again. we were straight up laughing in his face but bro was diligent. he told us that he knew that this wasnt a coincidence because our "energy was synchronizing." thats a new one. 
5 hours later....
we saw him AGAIN!! oh good ol alex
this time we finally told him our names and told him he could talk to us if he came to church.. he did not show up. maybe that's a good thing

friends ->
*we have soo many people on date for baptism this month and they are all so amazing. i love them w my whole heart
*please pray for kengy and emilio! 
*people here really are so humble and want something more, are searching for a purpose. they are so willing to listen to us because they know that their lives can be filled through the atonement of Jesus Christ

spiritual thought -> 
YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD AND HE LOVES YOU! it's that simple. He doesn't want you to feel hopeless or ashamed or guilty or lonely. He wants you to be made whole through His Son. "God is not too big for your every day life and you are not too small for eternity."

hello friends!! hope you are all doing well. BAPTISM WEEK for us!  *Cheysi got baptized on Tuesday! Dis es Peruano (Sept. 8, 2025)

hello hello! another week down. i hit 8 monthss! AHH! time is flying by way too fast but every day is another day i get to serve the Lord. love my life!  random • peru fĂștbol played this week. we suck but hey we gotta stay faithful. we were talking to this guy about the game and he told us, "it's not math, it's not hope, its only miracles. God is peruvian." we lost. #DALEPERUU • intercambio w hermana larsen was hypeee • we met one of our new besties named mequeas jackson. he's like 5 foot nothing, walks around with his piano. all he's got is his piano, God, and the music to keep him going. but hey he wants to get baptized • met this cool painter guy named bill douglas. his paintings are so awesome ⬇️ milagros • hermana cornia and i found 31 people this week!!  • our leaders challenged us, as a zone, to find 90 people this week to start september off strong. we took that literally and God magnified our efforts completely. Hello all! Another great week out here in the jungle! Per usual. Full of miracles :)  random • we saw alex creepy stalker guy again, turns out he has read the book of mormon and knows who joseph smith is. who would have guessed • thanks for the package mom. gummy clusters have never tasted so good😭 • tried a new fruit called guaba.. go look it up its sick • we helped this guy who ran out of gas push his moto and then he gave us a ride to our next cita • more rain and lots of lightning. honestly felt like we were in a movie all week!  conferencia  • president and hermana summerhays are actually the best  • just do it. and do it now. thats our theme for august 404! sometimes we don't know why God asks us to do things. but it doesn't matter. just do it and do it now. you have the help of Jesus  • i love my zone #loveyourz fun jungle facts  • people here will just lie right to your face. they are pretty dang good at it too. never trust a charapa • word of the ...
