don't take pancakes for granted 🥞 (Apr. 7, 2025)

Soo much happened this week but at the same time...so little happened. But CONFERENCE was amazing!! I love General Conference here on the mission. My comp made pancakes and smoothies for conference!! Honestly highlight of the mission.  

I got a new comp this week. Her name is Hermana Parke...Hermana Parkisita. She's the best! She has helped me so much to learn what it means to find joy in the work. This week our goal was to just find people that we can teach in order to get a solid rebaño. So if any of you have some really good tips on how to find people pleaseee let us know :) 

On Wednesday we got seriously lost in the middle of a rainstorm. Could not find our friends house for literally an hour. Nothing beats walking around in the rain and mud all afternoon. We had a new convert with us too, and he helped us out so much so we bought him churros. Shoutout to Otoniel 🫡 

Conference was amazing per usual!! Felt like all the talks were so personal and so needed. The Lord is aware of everything. My favorite talk was by Sister Runia. There is absolutely nothing you can do to change your worth in the eyes of God. You are a literal child of God and all that He wants from you is your effort. Just try. Just give it your all, and when you fall short, He's right there loving you and helping you to keep going. This week, when you feel like you can't do it anymore, ask yourself: If Jesus was praying for me, what would He say?
